Hornos Beach is considered one of the oldest beaches in Acapulco. It is located in the city recreation park, which has the same name.
Hornos Beach is one of the most visited in the city. The sun is here for twelve hours a day. However, it can not harm the rest. There are dozens of trees on the beach that create a shadow. There are several springs with fresh water on the beach. But it can also be purchased at cafes nearby.
On the beach, you can rent sun loungers for about five dollars for one sunbed.
The waves at Hornos Beach are always calm. The ocean waters in the area are quiet.
Every year, the world-famous Sand Drawing Competition is held on the beach. At this time, thousands of tourists from different cities of Mexico come to the beach. Some contestants come here even from other countries.
