Reserve "Ecotourism Kuyim"

Morelos #23, esq. Miguel Hidalgo|Zona Centro, San Ignacio 23930, Mexico

Description:

The Kuyim Ecotourism Reserve is the largest biosphere reserve protected by the Latin American authorities. Since 1990, ecotourism and expeditions have been actively developing in the lower part of the Baja California Peninsula. There are a lot of interesting things in the reserve. Here you can see rock paintings in the Sierra de San Francisco mountains and enjoy their breathtaking surrounding landscape. Interestingly, this reserve is located almost in the middle of the desert.

You can diversify your visit to the reserve by going on a boat and watching whales. Before going on an expedition, you should stock up on sunscreen and drinking water. Also on the territory of the reserve there are cafes where you can have a delicious snack of freshly caught fish and other seafood.
