Observation deck of Cerro de la Campana

Angel Flores, Hermosillo, Mexico

Description:

The observation deck of Cerro de la Campana is a symbol of the city of Hermosillo. It offers a beautiful panorama of the city. Near the site are rocks that emit a sound similar to the ringing of a bell. In the construction of the observation deck, marble was used, which was taken from marble pillars of the first floor of the Government Palace.

Also important is the fact that in 1968, on the top of the mountain, where the observation deck is located, an antenna was installed for the broadcast of the Olympic Games. This is what has made the site one of the most popular places. Every day, the observation deck is visited by more than 100 tourists and residents of the city who want to see the breathtaking panorama of the city. At night, the area glows with a million lights.
