Description:
Chihuahua International Airport, built in honor of General Roberto Villalobos, is located 18 kilometers from Chihuahua, in the state of Chihuahua. The airport is capable of handling more than 450 passengers per hour and is considered the largest airport in the state.
In recent decades, the growth of industrial production and the increase in the volume of freight traffic in the state contributed to the growth of cargo and passenger turnover at Roberto Villalobos Airport.
The airport serves domestic, international and cargo lines. In addition to the commercial sector, the airport hosts a Mexican air base.
At Chihuahua airport there is parking for cars, there is a car rental service and taxi call. Inside, the airport is made in gray-orange tones, and against its general background, a zone for visitors is especially distinguished, equipped with comfortable chairs of a bright orange color. Near the recreation area there are grocery stores, a restaurant and a souvenir shop.
