Eco-archaeological park Bocana Copalita
Description:
Eco-archaeological park Bocana Copalita is located ten kilometers from Guadalajara.
The total area occupied by the park is thirty-five hectares. After twelve years of archaeological excavation and exploration, the park was opened to the public in October 2010. All artifacts located on its territory date back to the five hundredth year BC.
In the park you can see an ancient ball area measuring 23 x 45 meters, decorated with carvings depicting scenes from the game.
In addition to this site, some more excavated buildings are available for free visit.
