Description:
Mirador Independencia Park was created in the late 70s of the last century on the eastern side of Huentit n Canyon.
The park has a large green area, playgrounds, picnic areas, three observation decks overlooking the canyon, tennis courts, bicycle paths, playgrounds for badminton and basketball, football field, summer theater, restaurant, parking space.
It covers an area of more than seven hectares.
The park is especially popular among amateur athletes.
In the western part of the canyon is the 150-meter waterfall Cola de Caballo, which is an important attraction of the area.
