Monument "Hall of Magi and Magicians"
Plaza Tapatia, Paseo Hospicio N.o 8, Guadalajara, Mexico
Description:
The monument “Hall of the Magi and Magicians” is a very unusual urban sculptural installation in the city center, made by Alejandro Colunga Guadalajare.
This original sculptural group is located opposite the Cabañas Institute of Culture. The open space is filled with very unusual bronze objects - chairs, armchairs, sofas, as it were, continue in people, which, from the point of view of the author, is probably magic. They were invented and brought to life by the artist and sculptor Alejandro Colunga Guadalajare. His work was appreciated by the city community and awarded a special prize.
And indeed, the unusual sculptural group does not just fill the space and surprise. It also serves as a convenient place to relax, because each of the bronze objects can be used for its intended purpose, that is, as a seat.
