Place de los Laureles

Plazza de los Laureles is located in the historic district of Guadalajara. At the foot of the square stands the majestic Cathedral, built in the Gothic and Baroque style. Along the perimeter of the square, in addition to attractions, there are many eateries and shops.

The square got its name because of the abundance of planted Indian laurel trees. Almost every tree has benches for rest. In the center of the square there is a large fountain - a source of freshness for vacationers. The base of the square is neatly laid out with paving slabs.
