Description:
Estampida sculpture is one of Guadalajara’s most remarkable sculptural creations.
It is a group of 14 horses, made in natural size, galloping on the green lawn in Jicama Square. The horses are made of bronze by one of the outstanding sculptors - Jorge de la Peña, who managed to achieve surprisingly natural dynamics in the embodiment of stallions.
Several times the sculpture was transferred, so among the inhabitants there was a legend that the horses themselves run from place to place. It is currently located opposite the Holiday Inn Select.
