Omnilife Stadium, built in 2010, is unique in that it is built on the site of an extinct volcanic crater.
This unusual idea was brought to life by the architects of the Parisian design studio “Masso Pouzet”. If you look at it from a bird's eye view, the roof is made so that it will appear as a cloud of ash. Despite its unusual location, the stadium blends well with the surrounding landscape.
