Lopez Portillo House Museum
Liceo 177, Zona Centro, Guadalajara, Mexico
About the company:
The Lopez Portillo Museum was established in 1982 in a house where famous members of the Portillo Lopez family lived.
The house is a manor of the late eighteenth century, built in neoclassical style. At various times, the house served as a residence for Governor Jesus López Portillo, writer José López Portillo and historian José López Portillo.
The house-museum exhibits a collection of antique furniture of the eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, as well as temporary exhibitions of decorative and applied arts and modern design, where artists and designers can demonstrate their projects.
