Museum of Clemente Orozco
Aurelio Aceves 27 Col. Arcos Vallarta, Guadalajara, Mexico
About the company:
The José Clemente Orozco Museum is located in the house where perhaps the most famous Mexican artist and sculptor lived and worked.
The house was built in 1948 by designer Edmundo Ponce Adame and architect Gonzalez Gortazar.
The museum opened in November 1951 after the death of Jose Clemente Orozco.
The exposition of the house-museum consists of the works of Orozko himself and numerous documents and photographs related to his life and work. The interior of the house is also an element of the exhibition.
In the museum, in addition to excursions, cultural events are held: concerts, book presentations, conferences.
