Chichen Itza + Valladolid + bathing in the cenote
Description:
This is probably the most popular excursion among holidaymakers in Cancun and the Mayan Riviera. Thousands of people visit this largest complex in Yucatan Chichen Itza every day. And this is not surprising, because part of it is one of the seven modern wonders of the world - the pyramid of Kukulkan. In addition, you will see many other well-preserved buildings, such as the temple of warriors, the largest ball field found, an observatory, a temple of thousands of columns and much more.
After exploring Chichen Itza, we will go to the Cenote – an underground karst lake with crystal clear water, where you can refresh, relax and eat.
Then we will go to Valladolid, a small town near Chichen Itza. It was founded in the 16th century by Spanish colonizers, and it still retains the colonial architecture and atmosphere of those distant times.
We will walk through the central square, enter the presidential palace, the Catholic Church, etc.
