Holbosch Island is located at the northern end of the Yucatan Peninsula. The island has wide beautiful sandy beaches, mangroves, jungles. The island is home to more than 100 species of different sea and forest birds. It has a small number of hotels and towns with sandy streets, which go golf carts as taxis. Most of the island and the surrounding small islands are protected areas, there is no construction, there are no roads, but by boat you can tour these beautiful places with untouched wildlife. In the morning we depart from Cancun or Playa del Carmen to the small town of Chiquila in the north of the peninsula. A boat meets us and our tour begins. First we visit a beautiful cenote, surrounded by green jungle.

There is fresh water in the cenote, you can swim there. After the cenote, we go to Isla de la Pación. This is a very small island located on a sandbank, on which you can walk around the entire island around, watch birds from close range, which are not at all embarrassed by the presence of a person. Several species of herons, pelicans, cormorants, pink flamingos and many other species of birds inhabit this and neighboring islands. After watching the birds, we head to the beautiful beach of Holbosch Island, where you can relax, lie in hammocks, drink refreshing margaritas and dine on the freshest and cheapest seafood.

The last stop on our way will be Isla Paharos, the island of birds – the name speaks for itself. We'll take a boat around the islet and you'll be able to photograph the birds from up close. The boat then takes us back to the big land, from where we will return by car to the hotel.
