Snorkeling with Whale Sharks and Women's Island

Only between mid-May and mid-September. The boat journey begins at the pier in Cancun. In a small speed boat (with a capacity of up to 10 people), we go in search of giant whale sharks that swim to the coast of Mexico to eat plankton in the surface waters of the Caribbean Sea. Whale sharks and giant rays (mantas) swim at the very surface of the water, absorbing plankton, nectons and phytoplankton. You don’t have to be a diver to see these beautiful creatures. We will swim with a mask, flippers and life jackets, which are issued by boat. Throughout the journey, you will be accompanied by experienced guides who will tell you about the life and habits of whale sharks, as well as monitor your safety at sea.

The search time for sharks takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the location of the sharks. Swim in the sea with an experienced instructor at the same time no more than two people. You can do an unlimited amount of swimming. After a swim, we head to the shores of Women's Island. There, the captains will prepare us a local national dish of shrimp - ceviche, while we rest from the road and enjoy the soft sand and clear water of the best beach of the island. After a snack, we go back to Cancun and go to hotels.

The tour is possible in an individual version and as part of a group.
