Distance about 1400 km Travel time: about 18 hours

Transport: Depending on the group and budget - from a minibus to a comfortable jeep.

Brief description of attractions:

Chichen Itza: One of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World. Here you will see the Great Kukulkan Pyramid, the Temple of Warriors, the largest ball field and much more.

Cenotes: Karst lakes with fresh running water from underground rivers. They are distinguished by picturesque and refreshing water, where you can swim. I always try to find beautiful cenotes with the fewest people in order to avoid queues.

Isamal: The so-called “yellow city” with ancient colonial streets and the second largest in Mexico Atrium, the city also has several large “pyramids” of the Maya.

Celestun: A boat trip among the mangroves, where you can see crocodiles, birds, as well as Flamingos in a natural habitat - on pink lakes

Merida: The capital of Yucatan is the so-called "White City". A city built on the site of a major Mayan city T-Ho, where some buildings in the center are built from materials dismantled pyramids. Known for its architecture, culture and color.

Uxmal: Mayan city-university, with monumental buildings in the Puuk style. This is the beginning of the so-called “Puuk Road”.

Campeche: A port city that arose on the site of the capital of the people, A Kim Pec, known for being several times captured and devastated by pirates, and therefore surrounded by a high fortress wall with outposts. The city center is recognized as the heritage of humanity by UNESCO.

Edzna: Monumental complex of one of the local Maya peoples - Itza. Tall pyramids growing out of the jungle, large areas and almost no visitors. One of those low-tourism places where you can still visit before the flood.

Chicanna (or Becan): Ruins of Mayan cities in the style of Rio Bec. The area as a whole was densely populated, but these small complexes are characterized by easy accessibility and low attendance. Here you will see pristine bas-reliefs in excellent condition.

Becan is a grander complex. Chicanna is a slightly more cozy city with more detailed bas-reliefs.

Chetumal: capital of Quintana Roo. A small modern town, where we will relax, walk along the promenade, see Belize on the other shore.

Bachelor: The so-called lake of seven colors, or rather seven shades of blue, where we ride on a boat and see the living stones.

The tributaries of Bacalara are one of the most beautiful tributaries of the lake, where you can swim in a fast river and soak up in a hammock in an atmosphere of absolute beauty.

Tulum: one of the most beautiful archaeological sites of Yucatan, located on a sheer rock above the Caribbean Sea.

Playa del Carmen: Mexico’s fastest growing city, grown from a small fishing village on the seashore – a mecca of free tourism to Mexico, known for its fashionable “fifth Avenue”.
