The Temple of Warriors is the largest archaeological monument of the Mayan civilization.
This monumental pyramid-shaped structure consists of four platforms. The temple is surrounded by 200 square columns with engraved images of priests and Quetzalcoatl.
The stone walls of the temple are decorated with engraved heads of snakes, masks of the rain god and images of 324 warriors expressing full readiness for battle. Two stairs lead to the upper platform of the temple. Opposite the entrance to the temple is a sculpture of Chuck Mol holding a bowl, where, according to legend, the gifts of the gods were folded.
