Cancun beaches

The beaches of Cancun are several popular Mexican beaches, the total length of which is more than twenty-two kilometers. All beaches of Cancun can be divided into two groups: safe for swimming and beaches for extremes. Safe for swimming beaches are located in the northern part of Cancun. The island of Isla Mujeres protects them from large waves. Couples often come here to relax and swim in the warm sea. In this area pure white sand, sometimes there are shells. Particularly popular are "Turtle" and "Pearl" beaches.

Beaches for extremes are located in the western part of Cancun. There are usually strong waves in the area. In a storm, their height reaches five meters. Therefore, swimming on these beaches prefer experienced swimmers. You can often see surf lovers here. A team of rescuers and medical workers is constantly on duty on the beaches. Tourists usually prefer the Dolphin Beach.
