The Pax Museum is a museum with over 1,000 types of musical instruments from around the world. Here you can see traditional Mayan instruments, classical flutes, Spanish and Mexican guitars. Guitars are favorites among museum visitors. All presented instruments are exclusive, handmade, made by indigenous Mayan peoples. The Pax Museum is quite small, but it houses many exclusive and mysterious exhibits.
At the moment, the museum’s collection includes 784 instruments from 37 countries. Also, everyone can purchase copies of the original tools presented. The museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00. Near the museum there is a souvenir shop, which offers a large number of different trinkets.
