Cancun Underwater Museum
About the company:
The Cancun Underwater Museum is a series of concrete sculptures placed under water about 30 meters from the shore.
Sculptures perform the function of reefs - many fish and mollusks live in them. The main purpose of the installation is to preserve the population of the underwater world.
Each exhibit has its own meaning, which corresponds to the names - "Dream collector", "Man on fire", "Silent evolution". Interestingly, Silent Evolution consists of almost 400 sculptures and these figures were cast from real models.
The installations cover an area of more than 150 square meters and their total weight is about 120 tons.
You can see the exhibits of the unique museum by scuba diving, or from a glass submarine.
