Zero Latitude Cave in Cuernavaca
Jupiter 7, Bello Horizonte, Cuernavaca, Mexico
Description:
The cave "Zero Latitude" in Kuernavak is a mastered tourist cave, inside which a difficult route is laid, during the passage of which you need to overcome a number of water and geological obstacles.
The cave "Zero latitude" was formed in the late Ice Age as a result of the erosion of limestone rock by the waters of a mountain lake. Today, the 3-kilometer long cave attracts fans of extreme recreation from all over Mexico. Operators-speleologists will conduct a brief briefing and provide tourists with the most modern equipment and means of protection. The route is designed in such a way that allows you to gradually increase physical activity, but eliminates the occurrence of risky situations.
The main attraction of the cave is a sheer waterfall, breaking down and forming an internally isolated lake along which part of the route passes.
