Fort 31 March

Fort 31 March is one of the attractions of Mazatlan. In bygone times it defended the city from attacks, now it is a beautiful place that offers a wonderful view.

The fort became famous during the French intervention, in the middle of the XIX century. Then the attack of the French frigate La Cordillera was courageously and boldly repelled.
