Frida Kahlo Museum
About the company:
This is a real house of a family of artists, in which everything is permeated and breathes a love for painting and art. Having moved to the status of a museum in 1958, this house still retains the atmosphere and interior that were during the lives of the couple.
The Cayocan home tells us about the daily lives of Frida and Diego. Every corner of the house is permeated with the love and care of the hostess. Today, some of her most famous paintings are kept here: Long live life (1954), Marxism will give health to the sick (1954), Frida and Caesarea (1931).
The museum exhibits collections of clothes and jewelry of Frida. Here you can see the collection of butterflies and photo portraits of Frida. Her brushes, books, easel, given by Rockefeller, lie in the order in which she kept them during her lifetime. The kitchen and dining room show hospitality and love for family holidays and celebrations that took place in the circle of celebrities of the time.
