About the company:
The Leon Trotsky Museum is visited annually by more than 17,000 foreign tourists and 50,000 students. It was established on 20 April 1990 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Trotsky’s death.
The museum consists of the house where Lev Davidovich lived in the last years of his life, as well as the garden where the grave of Trotsky and his wife is now located. The garden still grows rare species of cacti, which he collected throughout Mexico and planted here.
Everything in the house is preserved in the same form as during Trotsky’s life.
The museum collection consists of personal belongings of the revolutionary, such as letters, photographs, household items and other exhibits telling about his life.
