The Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City is part of the National Institute of Fine Arts and prepares exhibitions of Mexican as well as international contemporary artists and sculptures.
The museum is located in Chapultepec Park and consists of two circular buildings connected by a staircase. The Museum of Modern Art has four exhibition halls.
The permanent collection of the museum includes works of art by artists such as Frida Kahlo, Olga Costa, Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, José Clemente Orozco, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Leonora Carrington, Rufino Tamayo, Juan Soriano, Vicente Rojo.
