Toluca Airport

Description:

Toluca International Airport is located near the city of Toluca de Lerdo, in Mexico City. The airport is widely known for having the longest runway of any airport in Mexico.

Built in honor of Adolfo López Mateos, the airport is responsible for the air traffic of Toluca and western Mexico City and is a major competitor to Mexico City International Airport. Toluca takes care of regional companies Aerom xico Connect and Continental Express, as well as low-cost carriers Volaris and Interjet.

Currently, there are two terminals at the airport: international and domestic. There are restaurants in Toluca: La Pausa (in the international terminal, the domestic terminal - zone 2 and at exit 12), Medas (in the domestic terminal and in the waiting room) and Henry J. Beans (in the domestic terminal and in the arrivals hall).

Ground transport departs from Toluca airport: taxis and minibuses (to Santa Fe, downtown Mexico City and many hotels), minibuses to some parts of the city and buses for excursions. Adolfo Mateos Airport is equipped with parking, the price for an hour here is 7 pesos, and for a day - 200 pesos.

In the near future, it is planned to build a four-level parking lot with a capacity of two thousand cars. Toluca Airport has great prospects for the future and is among the top five airports in Mexico.
