Ventanilla laguna

Ventanilla Laguna is a picturesque natural resort located near the Pacific coast of Mexico in the town of Masunte.

For thousands of years, rocky soil near Masunte has been aggressively exposed to the waters of the Oaxaca River. As a result, a picturesque lagoon appeared near the coast, surrounded by protected mangrove forests. Local flora and fauna amazes with its diversity - woodpeckers, kingfishers, ducks-diving, herons live in the lagoon. There are several species of iguanas and alligators.

Near the lagoon is a crocodile farm, where tourists like to bring. Most often, people come here from neighboring Puerto Angel during the tide season, when high-altitude rivers overflow with water and the lagoon connects with the ocean, forming a colossal body of water.
