Misol Ha Falls
Description:
Misol Ha Falls, which means “falling water”, is a natural heritage of Mexico and a symbol of the state. The height of the waterfall reaches 30 meters. By the way, near the waterfall was filmed several shots of the film “Predator” with the participation of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The waterfall falls from the cliff into a huge pool of green color, which is surrounded by tropical thickets. Behind the waterfall is a grotto that can be visited without much difficulty. Inside the grotto, local residents sell tourists lanterns to explore the cave.
Near the waterfall are cottages and a restaurant. The waterfall turns into powerful jets in the rainy season, and in dry weather you can swim in the pool and go to the grotto behind the waterfall.
The area has beautiful nature: crocodiles, turtles and parrots live here.
