Sicatela Beach

Sicatela is a long beach located on the eastern side of Puerto Escondido. This place is popular among surfers – both beginners and professionals.

Surfing competitions are held on the beach every year (August and November). The surf season runs from April to November, when surfers can enjoy the good waves.

There are many hotels and hotels of different price categories on the beach. Vacationers relax in street cafes and restaurants, walk and sunbathe on the beach, watch surfers.

Also on the beach there are many amenities for visitors: bamboo and straw changing booths, hammocks, showers and toilets. For an additional fee, you can relax in special recreation centers with your own swimming pools, air conditioning, parking.
