The main square of San Jose del Cabo

The lovely town of San Jose del Cabo, like any other, has its own main square. Here (as in any other place) is a kind of center of the Old Town. Like a magnet, it attracts tourists and residents of San Jose del Cabo.

The square is a typical Spanish space. It is square, enclosed by houses and fully preserves the colonial atmosphere of past times. One side is overshadowed by a majestic cathedral, the other by a strict administration building. The walls of the houses give the square a certain intimacy, and the presence of the already mentioned buildings, on the contrary, give a certain status and grandeur.

In the immediate vicinity of the main square there are many shops, souvenir shops and various restaurants.
