Lake El Salto

Lake El Salto is located 65 miles northeast of the city of Mazatlan.

The lake covers 26,000 acres of land. In winter it is pleasant and dry, and in summer it is very warm and comfortable.

Near the reservoir is an international airport, so most of the visitors are Americans.

Since 1988, the lake has become very famous, as it became a center of sport fishing. Every year there are mass competitions in sports fishing.
