About the company:

The museum "Tula samovars" is a unique original collection consisting of more than three hundred samovars made in the period from XVIII to XX century in Tula. The entire exposition of the museum is located in three halls of an ancient building of the early twentieth century, located near the Tula Kremlin. The first hall of the museum presents exhibits related to the beginning of the production of samovars in Tula. Including in the collection is presented sbitennik - a unique prototype of a modern Russian samovar. Also in the first hall are exhibited medals received by Tula samovarists at the World Exhibitions in the late XIX and early XX century.

The second hall features more modern samovars made before the beginning of the XX century, as well as samovars of the Soviet era, which were made specifically for communist figures. In the third hall are exhibited modern samovars made by the only Tula plant for the production of samovars "STAMP".

The museum presents all varieties of Russian samovars from wood-burning to electric, and made of copper, tompak, Melchior. All exhibits of the most unimaginable form: a muzzle, a vase, a jar, a glass and even an egg. In the near future, the museum should move to a more spacious building on the territory of the ancient Kremlin, which will significantly expand the exposition through temporary exhibitions and interactive programs.
