Pushkin roads

Description:

Moldova is proud of the fact that the great Russian writer and poet Alexander Pushkin traveled on its land for 3 years. At that time, this territory was Russian land and was called Basarabia. Many different stories happened to the mischievous young man as in Chisinau, where there is a unique place in the city where the spirit of Pushkin is stored - this is a house-museum, in which the writer lived for a very short time. Miraculously, it survived the wars of the early 20th century and today tours and literary meetings are held here. And outside the capital: Alexander Sepgeevich repeatedly visited the Bendery fortress, studied the Belgorod-Dniester fortress, visited the places of the Kagul battle, rested on the banks of the Dniester River in the northern part of the region, and also visited many houses of nobles. One of these trips was to the village of Dolna, to the estate of the famous General Zamfirake Rally. It was here, in the Moldavian Kodras, walking in the shade of trees, that the poet met the gypsy camp and the black-eyed gypsy Zemfira. Many legends made the local people about this acquaintance, but no matter what, today in this area there is a branch of the Chisinau Museum of A. S. Pushikna, located in the building of an ancient manor, which is lovingly kept by the residents of the village of Dolna.
