River Trisuli

Trisuli, Nepal

Description:

The Trisuli River, which originates in the Langtag area of the Nepalese Himalayas northwest of Kathmandu, is the most popular and inexpensive commercial rafting site in Nepal. The relative accessibility and cheapness is explained by simple entrances to the places of the beginning and end of the alloy - along the left bank of the river to the west of Kathmandu runs the Kathmandu-Pokhara highway (Prithvi Highway), as well as the presence of relatively simple rapids on the accessible part of the river. The most popular one-day alloy from Majimtar to Kurintar, including the passage of the Monkey's Rapid and the Pirate's Bend. Just beyond the last threshold opposite the village of Kurintar on the right elevated bank of the river in the jungle is the shelter Brigand's Bende. Near the shelter is the typical Nepalese village of Thaguvater (population - Magars, chettris, Brahmins, Dorayas and Chepangi), absolutely unaffected by civilization, and on the top of the hill - a Hindu temple.
