Queen of Nepal O. Mityaev

The circle of feminine power is closed within us. We are goddesses, we are slaves. Each of us is a daughter, many are a mother. We are cyclical and changeable, majestic and helpful, impregnable and subjugated like the Himalayas. The culture of Nepal carries a great respect for the places of female power, they are especially revered. In the divine pantheon, a special place is given to goddesses who embody various aspects of the female character. So Lakshmi is affectionate and kind, Parvati is caring and attentive, Kali is irrepressible and passionate, Durga is angry and strong, Sarasvati is wise.

In my 7 years in this country, they taught me a lot. I would love to share these women’s treasures. I will show the most intimate places, distant women’s temples, I will guide through the rituals of Buddhism and Hinduism aimed at preserving the family, strengthening the feminine power and harmonizing our inner elements. In this country, everyone becomes himself: a powerful embodiment of the goddess. And I invite you to this transformation!

Day 1. Arrival in Kathmandu.

Arrival in an amazing city of bright colors, smell of incense and noisy streets. It's group day. Time to acclimatize to a new reality. We live in a hotel with the amazing name Shambhala. According to legend, this is the name of the paradise city – a sacred place for Buddhists, Hindus and yogis, hidden among the Himalayas. Dinner at the hotel restaurant. There will also be an opportunity to swim in the pool, go for a massage, SPA or soak up in the steam room and sauna. We begin to feel the divine with every cell of the body.

Day 2. Exploring the old town.

Let’s start with the oldest and largest market in Kathmandu – Assan. A little shopping for women’s happiness. Brass and copper dishes, fabrics, saris, dresses, beads - everything is here. There are several temples, including the goddess Annapurna. After passing through this variety of colors and fragrances, we will reach the royal square. Here special attention is paid to the temple of the main patroness of the royal dynasty Malla - the goddess Taleju. We will visit both the palace and the museum inside it, see the shrine of Black Bayrav, temples of Shiva and Vishnu. After lunch in a cozy courtyard, we will try to see the living goddess Kumari in her house. Dinner at Wellness Organic with fresh produce in a pleasant atmosphere. In our hotel you can enjoy a swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room and almost any type of massage every day.

Day 3. The mysteries of the ancient city.

Let’s take a little bit of space, let’s take a look at the story of the next day. After a delicious breakfast, we will get to know Kathmandu. Our first point will be the Svoyambhunath stupa or the Monkey Temple. According to legend, it was from here that the entire Kathmandu valley began. From the foot of the shrine there is a magnificent view of the city, flavored with observations of the free life of urban pricks - monkeys. Just next to the stupa is the golden temple of the Hariti demonesse. Here come to ask for protection of young girls, pregnant women and mothers of small children. And we can perform the ritual of offering to the mother's intercessor. This is a special place for me and I will tell you why. Having descended from the temple by the quiet streets of the city, we reach the sanctuary of Vajrayogini. She is the embodiment of the feminine aspect of Enlightenment, the original non-dual wisdom of space, the inner vitality. Just being here cleanses and blesses each of us. If possible, visit the temple of the goddess Bhagvati. We will have lunch and relax in the Garden of Dreams. The craftsmen invited here will carefully perform a mehndi lace painting on our hands. That we come to a new place of strength beautiful and inspired, because ahead of us is not an easy visit. We will go to the fiery Arati of the sacred river Bagmati. This is the act of daily offering, which is done at sunset. All this takes place in the temple complex of Pashupatinath, where the dead are cremated. In a place where death is talked about daily, women are especially revered as the giver of life. Return to the hotel and a late dinner to help us digest the experience of today.

Day 4. A trip to the bosom of nature and to the caves of the great Guru, the second temple of Vajrayogini.

We're going to Parping. One of the centers of spirituality in the Kathmandu Valley. This settlement is located beyond the city limits on hills among forests and fields. First we will visit the temple of the goddess Dakshinkali. Nepalis here make wishes that come true and make sacrifices for this. From the Hindu place of power to the Buddhist. Let’s start with a visit to the temple of Green Tara, the patroness of travelers. We go up to the caves of Asura, where the great teacher Padmasambhava practiced and meditated. We will look at the landscapes of the foothills from the observation deck and go down to our second temple of Vajrayogini. There are only four of them, they are built on 4 sides of Kathmandu to preserve high spiritual power in the valley. Three of them are allowed to visit. Pilgrimage to each of them helps to harmonize your inner fire, turn ignorance and unnecessary attachments into wisdom and joy of life. To me, this is what is often so necessary for each of us. Lunch will be in the monastery, very simple and therefore especially tasty food. After that, we will go to the temple of Vishne and the ponds of Shesh Narayan, where huge fish live. Nepalis believe they are naked. Semi-mythical creatures who are responsible for the forces of water and earth. Back to Kathmandu and some free time. It can still be spent on a swimming pool, massage, spa, sauna and steam room. In the evening, dinner on the roof of the beautiful Tibet Hotel.

Day 5. Female power and the largest stupa in Nepal.

In the morning we will go to the Buddhist convent. It is filled with warmth and care, looks great and just wants to be there. Nuns always welcome visitors and readily share pictures of their lives. From there, we will travel to the third permitted Vajrayogini temple in Sangkha. Although the road is not the simplest, but the inner cosmic fire of this deity, its power and undisguised truth cost a small sacrifice of comfort. From the temple, we go to what I think is one of the most powerful feminine energies in our valley, the Boudnath Stupa. Lunch at the lovely Café du Temple. Near the Bouda stupa there is an atmosphere of harmony, calm, you are seized by a sense of security and love. You can just wander from shop to shop, go to monasteries, sit on benches and feel happy. Here you can receive a blessing from an old nun, visit a Tibetan doctor, sound singing bowls, visit a thankopishi school. Miracles will happen to us, and I will be your guide in this process, not planning them in advance. Dinner at the Dechenling Garden Restaurant.

Day 6. Journey to places of fulfillment of desires. Strongest women's temples.

In order to avoid traffic jams, we will leave early. After three hours we will stop by the cable car, which will take us to one of the most revered temples of Manakaman. It is a blood goddess who grants wishes. On the day of the festivities, whole lines are lined up here to gain her blessing. We will bring flowers and coconut to her altar as a symbol of the sacrifice for the granted desire. Here you can taste local street food, but it is better to wait for the descent and lunch in the cafe. After that, 2 hours drive, we will arrive in the small town of Gorkha, where the strongest warriors of Nepal come from. I will tell you about their military exploits and not a simple, but very fascinating story. Here we will visit the little-known for tourists, but world-famous for pilgrims temple of the goddess Kali. And also bringing a basket of flowers and coconut, make the goddess a secret wish. On the way back we will visit the local museum and go to rest in the resort. It is located on the top of a hill and offers views of the Himalayas and a 360 degree view of fantastic landscapes. The entire hotel uses only renewable resources and was built using the most environmentally friendly technologies, has its own garden and garden. Dinner, sunset and blessing of the goddesses will be our luxurious end of the day.

Day 7. A day dedicated to love and self-care, SPA.

After leaving the green and beautiful village of Gorkha, in a few hours we will arrive in the resort town of Pokhara. It is located on the shore of Lake Feva just 60 km from the snowy Himalayas and the views are enchanting here. Our hilltop hotel allows you to admire these fantastic scenery every moment. The windows of all rooms are on the side of the mountains, and from the roof and living rooms you can see the Stupa of Peace and Lake Feva below. After lunch we will go to the SPA for the rest of the day. Massages, sauna and steam room, tenderness in every movement - what more do blessed girls need after a long journey. Dinner at the restaurant with the beautiful name Moondance for the most luxurious of us. And a beautiful evening with a view of the mountains in the fringe of the starry sky.

Day 8. The magic of Pokhara.

I chose this hotel for a reason. In Pokhara, it is customary to admire the Himalayas and for this everyone goes to watch the dawn on the hill of Sarangkot. We just go up to the top floor of the hotel and with fresh juice in hand by the pool (or right in it) enjoy the most delightful show of this world - the dawn rays on the seven- and eight-thousandth Himalayan peaks. Divine, isn't it? After breakfast, we will meet with Pokhara. First of all with the temple of Bindabasini. After that, we will visit the International Mountain Museum and have lunch at the Biangan restaurant. The afternoon is marked by a trip to the Stupa of Peace, to Shiva Cave and to Davis Falls. And the cherry on the cake will be a boat ride on Lake Feva and a visit to the temple of Varahi on the island in the middle of the lake. Dinner at Dunga Restaurant and return to our beautiful hotel.

Day 9. Flight to Kathmandu, shopping.

Such updated and fresh us are no longer worth shaking for several hours on mountain roads. So we'll get on a plane and go back to Kathmandu, watching the Himalayas in the window. Upon return, there will be free time for shopping, walking around the city, massage, swimming in the pool and any other women's relaxation. Lunch at the bright and airy restaurant Le Sherpa. The most important thing on this day is to consolidate inside the feeling of divinity, lightness, rest and happy female omnipotence. In the evening, you can combine the result of shopping and the whole relaxing tour in a festive dinner. Wear beautiful dresses, finally let go of your inner self and have a gala dinner at the Mulchok restaurant.

Day 10. Goddesses sit in chariots and carry the divine home.

Probably the most difficult day of our trip. It is time to part ways with such a volatile and yet harmonious Nepal. It is important to keep within yourself all the transformations, inner discoveries, accumulated energy and inspiration. To transfer all this to the difficult space of the hearth, your nest, home and homeland. Keep forever the ability to be, and if anything – easy to return to yourself – the goddess! See you later, my good and inimitable Dakini.
