Airlines received new permits for international flights
Aeroflot will be able to fly to Mexico City, PEGAS Fly and AZUR air will receive new departure cities to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh, Royal Flight will have a new arrival airport in Cuba.
There are permits for flights within the CIS. Some permits are issued to some foreign countries, which do not yet have air links, as well as to Thailand, where the flow of tourists is small due to difficult conditions of entry.
Severstal Airlines received permits for flights to Tivat and Podgorica (Montenegro) from Cherepovets. Russia has not resumed air traffic with Montenegro, admission “for the future”.
NordStar has permits for regular flights from Moscow to three airports in Finland. Russia has opened flights to Finland, but Russians cannot visit Finland.
NordStar received permits for flights to Pattaya (Utapao airport) in Thailand from seven Russian cities. Air communication between Russia and Thailand is officially open, but on flights to this country, by order of the Operator, airlines can only land vaccinated citizens of the Russian Federation.
The airline AZUR air (the main customer of flights is the tour operator ANEX Tour) received permission for the flight on the route Moscow – Muscat (2 flights per week). The carrier can carry out these flights because Russia resumed flights with Oman.
From September 1, Oman abolished the mandatory weekly quarantine requirement, and tourists will need a vaccination certificate and a PCR test.
"Aeroflot" received permission for a flight from Moscow to Mexico City. Operator General removed all restrictions on flights with Mexico. This means that Aeroflot could realize all seven frequencies a week, which it was issued by Rosaviatsiya. If we take into account the range of aircraft in the Aeroflot fleet, the carrier could perform such flights on a Boeing 777-200 or an Airbus A350-900.
Royal Flight Airlines has received admission to the new airport of arrival in Cuba – Olgin from Moscow. The operational staff has already opened for flights Havana, Varadero, Cayo Coco and Santa Clara.
Cuba has updated its entry protocols since November 15. Tourists vaccinated against COVID-19 will need to present a vaccination certificate at the entrance, unvaccinated - a negative PCR test result no older than 72 hours.
IrAero Airlines received permits for flights to Larnaca from Mineral Waters and Krasnodar. At NordStar – from Krasnoyarsk to Larnaca and Paphos. At Severstal - in Larnaca and Paphos from Cherepovets. It has allowed flights to Cyprus with limited frequency from all cities where international flights are permitted.
New permits for resorts in Egypt have been issued. The airline AZUR air (carries tourists tour operators ANEX Tour and Intourist) can operate flights to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh from Saratov.
PEGAS Fly airlines have access to Egyptian resorts from Saransk, Surgut, Astrakhan, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Omsk, Orenburg, Perm. These flights can be operated, as all restrictions on resorts in Egypt are lifted.
This airport is located in the southern part of the resort island of Margarita, where the tour operator PEGAS Touristik (the main customer of flights of these carriers) already flies from Moscow. Operational headquarters allows you to fly to Porlamar from St. Petersburg 1 time a week, flights can be performed.
