Russian airlines from October 1 to change the rules of free baggage
Pegas Fly, Nordwind, AZUR air, Royal Flight will introduce new baggage allowances on their flights from October 1.
If tickets or tour packages with tickets were purchased before October 8, the allowed number of seats and weight will be calculated unchanged.
New rules will be introduced on Pegas Fly and Nordwind charters.
From 1 October - free rule: a passenger can carry 1 seat weighing a maximum of 10 kg. With you in the cabin any number of items, weight is not important, but you need a “calibrator” 40x30x20 cm.
AZUR air cancels baggage consolidation of economy class passengers. It was convenient for a family flight: to avoid “excess” kg, everyone handed things in luggage with a total weight. Now free luggage is limited to 10 kg, you need to pay for an additional one.
The size of the surcharge is from 1,000 to 1,500 rubles for a super-limit suitcase of 20 kg depending on the duration of the flight, from 1,500 to 2,000 rubles for a 30-kilogram one.
If the problem of excess luggage is revealed at check-in, you will have to fly without it or pay from 2 000 to 4 000 rubles.
Royal Flight leaves passengers for free baggage allowance: 1 pc not exceeding 10 kg. Hand luggage is standard: 5 kg, dimensions no more than 40x30x20 cm.
Additional baggage will be requested.
There is a nuance: what to do if the flight "there" is scheduled for September, before the introduction of updates, and the reverse - for October, subject to changes.
You will have to pay for an extra suitcase when registering abroad.
Other Russian airlines in the tourism market have abandoned unpopular innovations.
The free baggage rate for iFly and Russia is 20 kg, for Red Wings at the Standard tariff - 23 kg.
The limit on hand luggage is the same - 5 kg.
