Air service to Egyptian resorts may open in July

Russian airlines expect the resumption of flights with Egyptian resorts in early July. Interfax was informed about this by an informed source.

It is planned to resume direct regular and later charter flights to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh airports in early July.

Moscow and Cairo signed documents regulating such flights, including documents on aviation security.

Last week, the Kremlin confirmed that inspection commissions from Russia had recently traveled to Egyptian airports on the issue of their readiness to resume flights between the two countries, but noted that a timeline for restoring the service has not yet been set.
