Montenegro asks Russia to open regular flights

Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovich sent a letter to the Deputy Chairman of the Russian government and the Chairman of the Federal operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus Tatiana Golikova.

He asks to consider the resumption of direct regular flights between the countries, and in particular notes: “... Montenegro has almost overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, and that the country does not register more than a few dozen cases of infection every day <...> we hope that you <...> consider the option of including Montenegro in the green list of countries.”

The opening of regular flights between the countries is extremely important for the republic, it will allow citizens to travel freely.

Earlier, the Montenegrin authorities removed restrictions for the entry of Russians, now do not need a certificate with a negative PCR test for coronavirus.

Direct regular flights from Russia to Montenegro are still closed, only cargo and passenger flights are carried out.
