What do Russians like to eat and drink on the plane?
Experts Ozon.travel. Determine what food is popular with Russian passengers on board the aircraft. 48% of respondents voted for a chicken dish. A quarter of respondents preferred fish. The remaining 27 percent said they chose vegetarian dishes on board.
Kosher and halal food has become popular, with one in five people ordering it.

Often, food in flight seems tasteless to passengers. Experts explain this by special conditions at altitude: salt and sugar are perceived 30% weaker, and spices are almost not felt due to low humidity in the cabin, which dries the mucous membrane, and the pressure difference, which reduces the sensitivity of taste buds. Only tomato juice due to its high density and decent salt content can preserve the original taste, and because of this, it is ordered during the flight even by those people who do not drink it on the ground.
The survey also revealed that Russians like when meals are scheduled on board, and are irritated when they are not.
