Dmitry Peskov: Russia can recognize foreign vaccines and certificates on a reciprocal basis

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the recognition of foreign certificates of vaccination and foreign vaccines on the territory of Russia is associated with the same reciprocal steps of other countries.

“Of course, oncoming traffic is necessary here. That is, we cannot simply put our citizens, who also experience great problems when traveling abroad, in a discriminated position.”

The Kremlin does not yet have a solution to the problem and its consequences – the inability of foreigners to obtain QR codes, which are required to visit some establishments in Moscow and other regions. But the Russian authorities see difficulties and expect that there will be a way out.

Dmitry Peskov: For example, we would welcome our vaccine to be recognized by the relevant foreign agencies. Of course, this is a big problem – the non-recognition of vaccines, this is a question that will have to be answered together with international partners.
