Next year, Rostourism plans to launch a program of affordable cultural and educational trips, in which 300,000 children will be able to participate annually. This was reported by the head of the agency Zarina Doguzova.
“It is important that the younger generation be able to get to know their country easily, safely and interestingly. Next year we will launch a program of accessible children’s cultural and educational trips. Starting next year, at least 300,000 children will be able to participate in the programme every year.”
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko stressed that the main goal of the government is to provide quality and affordable recreation in Russia, and primarily for families with children.
On April 27, Doguzova spoke about the extension of the program to return 50% of the price of children’s trips to health camps until the end of the year.
Already this year, 357 thousand children will go on vacation in the country on preferential terms with compensation of 50% of the cost of the ticket. Within 10 years, every child will have the opportunity to travel to Russia twice a year.”
