Where do Russians prefer to rest with children?
73.1% of Russians intend to travel in the summer, 58.4% of respondents want to arrange a long family vacation for a week or more. The rest will go somewhere for a maximum of seven days.
On vacation with children, 54.2% of Russians are ready to allocate up to 100 thousand rubles for a trip, and the rest planned a large amount.
Most often, families choose a relaxing holiday on the beach or by the pool, 67% of respondents. The remaining 33% try to make travel active: go with children on hiking, ride bicycles.
51.8% of Russians plan summer leisure in advance, the rest prefer to improvise and decide what to do on the spot.
The majority of respondents usually stay with the whole family in a hotel (75%). Others like the apartments, probably for the opportunity to cook on their own - such accommodations usually have a kitchen (28.9% of respondents who go on vacation with children cook their own food).
Regarding locations for family travel, opinions are divided:
- 51.2% prefer to rest in Russia
- 48.8% choose abroad.
Among Russian cities, the best for traveling with children Sochi (34.9% of the vote), Gelendzhik (15.9%) and Anapa (12.7%). From foreign destinations, Antalya leads (30.8%), pitsunda (25.6%), Side (17.9%).
