Greece announces tourist entry rules in summer
Ministry of Tourism Greece Announced a plan for the safe launch of the tourist season, the start of which is scheduled for May 14.
Minister of Tourism Haris Theoharis said that Greece is waiting for guests from Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, Russia, the United States and the Balkan countries, and for travelers, five lines of defense are drawn up.
On the first – the tourist provides a document of vaccination against the coronavirus, a negative PCR test or a certificate of an already transferred disease.
Upon arrival, tourists will be selectively checked for COVID-19. In case the test is positive, travelers will face a “third line of defense”, that is, they will be quarantined.
The fourth paragraph includes the mandatory wearing of personal protective equipment, compliance with anticove measures when visiting restaurants and excursions.
The final line for foreigners is to follow the same rules as locals.
The Greek tourism sector is vaccinated to guarantee safe rest.
