India lifts coronavirus entry restrictions
India has lifted all covey restrictions on entry since November 22.
On the website of the Ministry of Health of India, it is reported that on November 21, the Ministry of Health of the country issued an updated edition of the “Guidelines for those staying from abroad”.
According to this document, it is desirable that tourists be vaccinated, but this will no longer be considered a mandatory requirement.
“In light of the steady decline in the COVID-19 trajectory and the significant advances made in COVID-19 vaccination coverage both globally and in India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued a revised version of the Guidelines for International Arrivals.”
Self-declaration of vaccination and PCR tests are also not mandatory.
