Foreign travelers begin to return to Russia
The domestic market of inbound tourism is beginning to show signs of life - tour operators report arrivals of a few tourist groups from Egypt, the UAE, India.
Intourist confirmed the beginning of the first races organized tourists, but drew attention to the fact that tourist groups in the classical sense (a group of 50 people who ride a large bus) is impossible this year. Most arrivals from abroad will be individual tourists, families, groups of 10-20 people.
Major group races can be sports teams.
At the moment, most tourists from the UAE, Egypt, India go to Moscow. Here they mainly visit the museums of the Moscow Kremlin, Red Square, make excursions on the Moscow metro. Indian tourists prefer the combined program "Moscow + St. Petersburg" with a visit to the Hermitage and Peter and Paul Fortress.
Russia is now a financially attractive destination for foreign tourists. In favor of the direction, in particular, says the weakening of the ruble against world currencies.

In St. Petersburg, the situation is different. Experts believe that the possible increase in prices for accommodation facilities.
The main tourist market for Russia – China – is not yet ready to send mass tourists to Russia, but the country’s tour operators are actively preparing for the restoration of tourism with China and are establishing ties with partners. They are concerned about how soon after the opening of the borders will be settled the formalities for the entry into Russia of tourists from China, and what documentation will be required for crossing the border.
In post-cove tourism, Chinese travelers are waiting for a greater variety of Russian tourist products: the route Moscow – St. Petersburg is already well known.
