Israel simplifies entry rules for vaccinated Russians

Russians with the COVID-19 vaccine to visit Israel can now undergo serological testing at the airport of arrival or in Russia.

Vladimir Shklyar, director of the Department of the Ministry of Tourism of Israel in Russia and the CIS, said that until today, tourists from Russia vaccinated with Sputnik V or booster Sputnik Light had to pass a serological test for antibodies to the coronavirus upon arrival in Israel at the airport. This analysis can now be done before travelling to Israel in Russia.”

Laboratories where you can make a rapid test are on the website of the Ministry of Health of Israel.

Before traveling, a tourist must fill out a declaration on the website of the Ministry of Health of Israel 48 hours before departure. The test should be closer to filling out this declaration, he said.

In addition, all tourists must pass the COVID-19 PCR test no earlier than 72 hours before departure.

From January 9, 2022, Israel allowed entry to Russians who had been vaccinated with Sputnik V.
