How will the resort fee work in 2019?

In May 2018, a resort fee was introduced in several pilot regions of Russia, with the help of which the authorities were going to raise additional funds for the development of tourist infrastructure.

To collect it from vacationers should hotels and other official accommodation facilities. If the experiment is successful, it may be necessary to pay in other regions of the country.

The federal law "On conducting an experiment on the development of resort infrastructure" (adopted in the summer of 2017), provides only the upper bar - should not exceed 50 rubles per day per person during the first year of the experiment (in 2018) and 100 rubles per day - in the following years. The specific amount is set at the regional level.

The funds received must be transferred by operators to special funds.

Initially, the fee was to be charged in the Altai and Stavropol territories, in the Kuban, in the Crimea, but in the spring of 2018 on the peninsula the fee was postponed. In the Krasnodar region, the collection operates in Sochi. adlere. Anape. gelendjikeHot Key, Lazarevsky, Shepsy, tuapseAgoe, Nebuge.

In other regions, apparently, in the near future, the increase in the amount of the fee should not be expected. In 2018, the “ceiling” was 50 rubles a day, then from 2019 it was increased to 100 rubles. To use this opportunity in the regions did not — the amount of collection has grown only in the Altai Territory, but there from this decision is likely to be abandoned in the near future due to the discontent of tourists.

Therefore, you will still have to pay 10 rubles a day in the Kuban, 50 (or 30 rubles) in the Altai and 50 rubles in the resorts of Kavminvod. There this year they plan to update the record of 2018, collecting almost 250 million rubles.
