The press service of the Ministry of Transport reports that 180 multifunctional zones of road service have been installed on federal roads in Russia, and their number will double by 2030.
Rosavtodor with the regions and business representatives organized working groups that by the end of 2023 along the entire length of the main road network will determine the locations of the MFZ road service for motorists.
The ministry added that issues of modernization of existing zones will be considered.
“In the future, the very definition of IFZ will be enshrined in the federal law on roads and road activities. In addition, it is planned to type and create a standard for such zones. This standard will also reflect the operational requirements of the IFZ and the division of responsibility.”
