How will the second stage of the tourist cashback program go? The Russian government announced the rules

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree amending the rules for granting subsidies in 2020 to stimulate affordable domestic tourist trips.

The cashback program will continue until the end of the year with the seizure of the New Year holidays - you can go on a trip until January 10, 2021.

The terms of sales of tours and placement on the promotion will last at least 1.5 months.

To participate in the restart of the cashback program, domestic tour operators, hoteliers and aggregators of tourist services are invited.

The duration of the tour or stay in a hotel for cashback under the new conditions of the program is reduced from 4 to 2 nights, the minimum cost of the ticket is not limited (previously - 25 thousand rubles).

The amount of the maximum cashback is 20% of the cost of the tour, but not more than 20 thousand rubles (in the first promotion – 15 thousand rubles). A tourist can make up to three purchases of tours with cashback.

Invariably, the condition of the promotion is that payment for the tour or accommodation must be made by the Mir card. The cashback will be returned to the tourist within five days of payment for the trip.

The dates of the beginning and end of sales of travel services with cashback will be later announced by Rosturizm.
